Hilltop & Palm Garden


The Hilltop ceremony at Santa Barbara Zoo offers an unparalleled view, with sweeping vistas of the Pacific Ocean and the Channel Islands. Nestled within the zoo's scenic grounds, this elevated spot provides a unique and awe-inspiring location for your wedding, blending natural beauty with the charm of the zoo’s surroundings.

  • Hilltop & Palm Garden Specifications

    Capacity: 1,200

    A gorgeous Hill Top with a 360 degree view of the Mountains and Santa Barbara Harbor. A large space for memorable weddings, large corporate picnics, social gatherings and more!


    Site Fee Includes: The site rental from 4:00p.m.-10:00p.m., admission and parking for up to 200 guests. If the number of guests attending your event exceeds 200, an additional $25 per person for parking is required (in addition to the site fee). Two event hosts to assist with deliveries/escorts, and a friendly, yet professional, security guard will be on duty during your event. 

Discovery Pavilion


The Discovery Pavilion ceremony is ideal for couples looking for an intimate and elegant space at the Santa Barbara Zoo. This indoor venue features floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase beautiful garden views, bringing the outdoors in while offering a modern and refined setting for your special day.

    The Discovery Pavilion features two classrooms that can be combined into one large meeting space if needed.

     Each room is equipped with automated drop down screen, permanently mounted projectors a fully integrated computer for the system. The sound systems are also tied to the front patios of each classroom as well as the exhibit gallery and surrounding areas. The system is able to handle most “plug-ins” from Ipods to notebook PC’s. Use of 1 or 2 Screens, Projector and Audio: $200. A tech is also required.


    Discovery Pavilion site reservation includes: Wireless Mic, restrooms, patio,  available chairs and tables, or the option to rent additional tables and chairs through Zoo Catering Services by Rincon.

This venue is what dreams are made of! It is absolutely stunning!!! We had our ceremony on the beach, which was so special! Getting married on the sand was a dream come true for us, and the venue provided signage and staff to help guests find the location. The garden space is just WOW- all of our guests were blown away by how beautiful and unique our venue was. The beams at the top are unbelievable and they offer a chandelier add-on which really brings it all together. We searched long and hard for a venue, and this truly was the most magical place to have our special day. The photos turned out beautiful and the space was such a great setting. Their in-house inventory is also great and all of it is so beautiful! The staff and team at Rincon are so sweet and wonderful to work with. Kinsey was so amazing on the day and really made us feel supported! The food was AMAZING- we had multiple people come up and tell us it was the best wedding food they had ever had- we did stations and it was so fun! I would highly recommend to any couple thinking of having their special day at Rincon Beach Club!
